The village of Thornham is situated on the A149 between Hunstanton and Brancaster. There is a small harbour, and a beautiful sandy beach with dunes just a short walk away.
 
Bird reserves such as Titchwell, Holme and Snettisham are within easy reach, as are Hunstanton and Brancaster golf courses. The area is also a popular location for sailing, windsurfing and water-skiing. 

Within the village there are three public houses, all with good restaurants and bar meals. 
There is also a village store and deli/restaurant. Thornham also has a playing field with all-weather tennis court. 

Buses run several times daily from Hunstanton to Sheringham in the summer months with a reduced timetable off-season. 

Within easy reach of Thornham are a number of stately homes to visit: 

Sandringham, Holkham Hall and Houghton Hall.
